CHRISTMAS ORDERS AT THE PARLOUR SHOP
The Parlour Shop – Christmas Orders
Our little Parlour Shop is one of the oldest community shops in the country, having continuously operated since 1997. We are indebted to our range of wonderful volunteers and staff who work together throughout the year to keep the shop open for the benefit of everyone in Wellow, and the surrounding area.
Christmas is a key time of year for the shop, and a small army of volunteers is mobilised to process, package and price orders – they give up their time so that we can all collect a range of quality, locally sourced goods, in one place, at the same time. However large or small, we encourage you to place an order and in so doing, support your community shop. Thank you, and whilst it is a little premature, Merry Christmas!

What we sell and do
Food Orders
You can order a range of high quality fresh produce from us:
Products Available
- Meat: Order by noon Wednesday, for collection on Friday
- Fish: Delivered fortnightly on a Tuesday; Order by Monday, the day before delivery
- Bread: A range of bakery items and artisan breads from Hobbs House: order Monday for Friday collection

Papers and Magazines
Order a Saturday paper or your favourite magazine and simply pop in to collect from the shop. Just tell us what you’d like.
Accounts
Why not create an account with the shop? This makes it super easy to pop in whenever you need to quickly pick something up or if you need a more substantial shop. It is really easy to register. All your purchases are entered onto your account, for which you are then billed for at the end of each month.
Easy Fundraising
An easy and quick way to support the shop and help fund its future. Sign up to Easyfundraising on their web site or App and choose Wellow Parlour Shop as your cause. Have a look! We would greatly appreciate your participation.
What Else We Do....
Dry Cleaning Every Tuesday, why not drop off or collect your dry cleaning, around midday. So easy when it’s just along the road.
Books Calling all bookworms! Bring your best reads and share them with other villagers for just 50p per book.
Tennis Come and purchase your tokens for the Wellow Valley Tennis floodlighting and enjoy an evening of play all through the darker hours. We also have tennis balls for sale.

We have a handful of paid staff but otherwise rely solely on the generosity and tireless work of volunteers to stay open.
